NICE Actimize Premier is seeking Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to take our existing CloudOps toolset to the next level. In this position You will be working with multitude of modern tools and technologies to build and deploy releases throughout the software development life cycle as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production AWS environments properly and efficiently. The ideal candidate has to have the ability to work in a dynamic and complex software build environment and will also be an energetic self-starter with a passion to build, innovate and achieve excellence.
How will you make an impact?
- Subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling Groups, and Configuration Management.
- Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and Enterprise Security.
- Acts as a technical liaison between Dev, Professional services, and customer support teams.
- Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture and participate I yearly security audits.
- Monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting automation.
- Create technical documentation and mentoring of team members.
Have you got what it takes?
- Expert in Linux Command line.
- Strong understanding of Operating systems (OS), specifically Linux and several years of OS patching experience in production environments.
- Significant hands-on experience with automation using Bash / Python.
- Significant experience working with customer facing production environments.
- Significant experience working with AWS infrastructure.
- Significant experience working with Web interfaced Java application configurations.
- 5+ years of production cloud operations experience
- 5+ years expertise in Linux command line.
- 5+ years of using Terraform in AWS for automation. Hands on with automation and seeking out opportunities to automate manual processes.
- 5+ years of strong, hands-on experience building production services in AWS.
- 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes configuration management
- 3+ years of experience with Docker and building Docker images.
- 3+ years of experience working with Artifactory and Jenkins.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting using Python and Bash
- Significant experience with CI/CD automation tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Significant experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
