About Role:As the Sr. Cloud Engineer, you will bring a passion for automation and simplifying processes for Ensono Cloud product portfolio. You will bring to the table a unique combination of a solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, virtualization, storage, and automation.You will be an integral part of the Cloud Center of Excellence bringing significant advances to the Ensono cloud product & technology portfolio making enhancements to improve reliability and availability delivering best possible customer experience.Role and Responsibility:
- Build, Operate and Sustain Ensono Cloud platform consisting of VMware Virtualization, Cisco ACI, NSX Software Defined Networking & Security products, and Storage Infrastructure.
- Proactive health check reviews & audits, for utmost stability and provide automation funnels to DevOps team for visibility
- Testing of new software/hardware releases to provide life cycle management recommendations.
- Manage the capacity for cloud platforms globally
- Participate and Drive Root Cause Analysis for major incidents
- Manage Ensono cloud platform and provide escalation support. Provide 24x7 on-call rotational support.
- Own problem management process to reduce recurring incidents and come up with solutions.
- Optimize monitored parameters and thresholds. Report on metrics
- Utilize automation for deployment, ongoing management, and operational service delivery.
- Drive continual efficiency improvements via process and automation improvement.
- Build Ensono Cloud solutions for clients based on low level design provided by Cloud Design Assurance team.
- Create support, capacity and problem management documentation.
Mandatory Skill:
- Extensive experience with VMware NSX-T network virtualization including security policy deployment and automation.
- Experience with VMware vSphere deployment, management, and automation
- Experience with VMware Cloud Director including automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure Automation tools such as Terraform, Rundeck, GitHub and Ansible.
- Understanding of Agile Working Methodology & Environment
- Experience with scripting languages such a Python or PowerShell is a plus
- Strong experience in running automation using API’s.
- Experience with Cisco Networking and ACI
- Experience with VMware AVI, F5, A10 or other Load Balancing Technologies
- Knowledge of Switching and Routing Protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocols, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, etc.
- Experience of firewall policy management for NSX and Palo-Alto
- Exposure with integrating infrastructure elements to third party systems such as BMC, ServiceNow, Infoblox IPAM etc.
