Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in Data Governance to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and assisting our clients in developing and implementing effective data governance strategies. Your expertise in data management, data quality, compliance will contribute to enhancing data integrity, privacy, and data democratization across diverse organizations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data challenges, and develop comprehensive data governance strategies aligned with their specific needs.
- Support leadership in designing thought leadership in establishing data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks that ensure the effective management, privacy, and security of data assets.
- Help build the Data Governance capability along with other team members with PoVs, Accelerators and other Frameworks
- Execute projects for diverse organizations in the lines of data governance, data quality, data privacy, metadata management in the lines of people, process and technology
- Collaborate with client teams and stakeholders to promote data governance awareness and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Participate in data governance meetings and committees, contributing to the continuous improvement of data governance policies and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with experience in Information Technology field
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or related areas.
- Solid understanding of data governance best practices, data quality management, data privacy regulations, and data security principles.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics technologies and their interaction with data governance is a plus.
- Hands on experience with any of the Data Governance tools like Collibra, Informatica Axon, Alation and Data Privacy tools like OneTrust, BigID
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex data governance challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Certifications in data governance or related fields (e.g., DAMA-CDMP, DCAM) will be good but not necessary
