The Senior Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data solutions, particularly using Power BI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze client's business requirements to design and implement effective data solutions.
- This is a full time onsite opportunity in Pune
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Implement and optimize data models in Power BI, adhering to Medallion architecture principles (bronze, silver, gold layers).
- Design and optimize data models utilizing medallion data architecture and advanced data modeling techniques to support client reporting and analytics needs.
- Implement best practices in data engineering to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for Power BI best practices, including performance tuning and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and visualization.
- Proactive communications to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Experience with Snowflake and Power BI is required.
- Robust understanding of medallion data architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) and advanced data modeling techniques.
- Develop and maintain DAX calculations and measures for advanced analytics and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, datasets, and data refresh schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively engage with clients.
- Getting things done, knowing how to unblock yourself, communicating, and engaging with customers proactively with minimal supervision.
