Job Overview- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions.
- This role is ideal for experienced Data Engineers who can take ownership of end-to-end data pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to enterprise-grade data platform architecture.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines on Azure
- Develop and optimize data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and PySpark
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory
- Develop, tune, and maintain complex T‑SQL queries and data models
- Work with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting solutions
- Implement and manage data governance and access controls using Unity Catalog
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across platforms
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines and platform components
- Follow best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines
- Strong expertise in T‑SQL
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (strong proficiency required)
- Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
- Strong working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS
- Experience working with Unity Catalog for data governance
- Strong background in data engineering and data platform development
- Experience with Azure Data Lake and cloud-based data architecture
Good to Have Skills
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines
- Familiarity with data security and compliance best practices
- 8–13 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Proven experience working on Azure-based data platforms
- Strong hands-on experience in building enterprise-scale data solutions
- Ability to independently own and deliver complex data engineering initiatives
- Experienced Data Engineers with strong Azure and Databricks expertise
- Hands-on professionals with an ownership mindset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Education
