About the Role
Multiplier is seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tools. You will play a key part in enhancing our platform's reliability, scalability, and efficiency, while also improving the overall developer experience.
What would you do / key responsibilities
Cloud & Core Infrastructure
- Assist in the provisioning and maintenance of IaaS/PaaS resources across cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Contribute to the management of container orchestration platforms, primarily ECS, and support preparations for Kubernetes adoption.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of network architecture components like VPC, DNS, CDN, and VPN.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform, Pulumi, Terragrunt to manage infrastructure.
- Support initiatives related to multi-region deployments, Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Help monitor and optimize cloud costs (FinOps).
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions, Argo CD, CircleCI, or Harness.
- Manage and improve build tools and environments for various services.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of developer self-service platforms and internal developer portals (IDPs).
- Support the implementation and management of feature flagging and experimentation tools.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining metrics dashboards for DORA, SPACE, and other engineering metrics.
- Support the management and optimization of database platforms (RDS, NoSQL, managed services).
- Work with messaging queues like Kafka to ensure reliable data flow.
- Assist in maintaining data ingestion pipelines.
- Implement and maintain solutions for secrets and configuration management.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Must have - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, ECS).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving systems.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI / ML Ops
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with database platforms (RDS, NoSQL).
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of FinOps principles.
- Experience with developer experience platforms or internal tools.
