Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of CI/CD at scale across microservices-based platforms.
- Architect and enforce IaC principles across multiple teams using Terraform Enterprise or similar.
- Optimize cloud resource usage, implementing auto-scaling, spot instances, and cost governance.
- Guide migration projects (e.g., monolith to microservices, on-prem to Public / Private cloud).
- Drive incident response readiness, SLO/SLI definitions, and postmortem culture.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a DevSecOps mindset across delivery teams.
Must Have Skills:
- 7-10 years of proven experience in complex distributed systems and CI/CD orchestration across hybrid clouds and On-Prem.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals and cloud-native ecosystem (On-Prem / Public).
- Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/FluxCD), Helm, and secrets management (Vault, SOPS).
- In-depth experience with container security, policy-as-code, and RBAC.
- Track record of automation in provisioning, monitoring, and self-healing systems.
- API gateways, and distributed tracing tools is a plus.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Kafka.
- Experience in governance, compliance (ISO/SOC2), and secure SDLC preferred.
Qualification:
- BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
