Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the evolution of our infrastructure. This role involves maintaining Terraform modules, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing Kubernetes management processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in incident response and service reliability, contributing to the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our platform operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve Terraform modules across core services.
- Enhance GitHub Actions and GitLab CI pipelines with policy-as-code integrations.
- Automate Kubernetes secret management and migrate from shared init containers to native methods.
- Review and deploy Helm charts for service releases, ensuring rollback reliability.
- Track and resolve environment drift, and automate consistency checks between environments.
- Drive incident response tooling (Datadog + PagerDuty) and participate in post-incident reviews.
- Assist in cost-optimization efforts through resource sizing reviews.
- Implement and monitor standardized SLA/SLO targets for key services.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
Deep technical knowledge of Terraform, Terraform Cloud, and infrastructure module design. - Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters (preferably on GKE).
- Expertise in CI/CD automation tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm-based deployments.
- Proficiency in securing cloud-native environments and working with secret management solutions (e.g., Google Secret Manager or HashiCorp Vault).
- Hands-on experience in observability tooling, such as Datadog.
- Familiarity with GCP networking, service configurations, and container workload security.
- Proven ability to lead engineering initiatives, work cross-functionally, and manage infrastructure roadmaps.
