Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Proposal Engineer with deep expertise in automation solutions in upstream oil & gas i.e. artificial lift methods (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift, etc.). The ideal candidate will lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and delivering competitive, value-driven Digital Solution Proposal ( RTU, Instruments, Telecommunication, Cloud/OnPrem SCADA).
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Management:
Lead end-to-end proposal development for automation and artificial lift systems.
Analyze RFQs, prepare technical and commercial offers, and ensure timely submission.
Technical Expertise:
Able to estimate engineering hours for solutions involving SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT platforms.
Provide Digital Solution Proposal for digital oil field mainly articial lift methods i.e. ESP, PCP, SRP, GL etc.
Costing & Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost sheets, cashflow, resource allocation, and engineering effort estimates.
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with sales teams and clients to clarify technical requirements.
Participate in technical discussions and negotiations.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure proposals meet industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in proposal engineering for oil & gas automation projects.
Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift).
Expertise in SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT solutions.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
Communication Protocols i.e. Modbus TCP, MQTT and fundamental understanding of OT/IT Integration.
