Role Description

Business Area and Team the role belongs to:

• SAP Accounting, Tax & IFRS includes the change portfolio of global finance, group tax, group communications & corporate social responsibility and management reporting systems. In addition to the classic change/CTB tasks and the continuous improvement of the platforms, the specialist knowledge of the processes and systems is bundled, as well as the expertise to successfully manage large and international projects in close coordination with the specialist departments.
• The portfolio includes systems for:
• The global consolidation as well as the internal and external reporting of the Deutsche Bank Group
• Financial consolidation based on SAP for IFRS & HGB as well as for local consolidation in America within the framework of the Intermediate Holding Company.
• Management information systems for the group and testing software, and resolving technical issues that arise.

Role description

• Definition of IT design and the associated IT architectures in SAP BCS/SAP BPC/SAP FS PER and AMANA Smart Notes software solutions.
• Analysis of business processes and implementation in application codes
• Implementation of technical solutions in SAP BCS/SAP BPC/SAP FS PER
• Integration of the Group GL solutions into the SAP General Ledger solution as well as into the future SAP S4HANA solution
• Integration of the area-specific software solutions and architectures into the domain architecture
• Configuration of SAP applications in different environments.
• Development of technology proposals as well as IT frameworks – if possible, by adhering to standardization.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a focus on IT or business administration or comparable training/professional experience (bank clerk desirable), an IT specialist is also welcome
• Professional experience in software development for the areas of group accounting/group planning or knowledge in setting up SAP accounting solutions
• Experience in defining IT architectures
• Sound experience in the design of software solutions in the SAP BCS/SAP BPC/SAP FS PER platforms
• Experience in the reporting solutions DBRIP (DB specific Business Objects solution) as well as experience with the reporting tool Tableau is desirable.
• Persuasive ability to participate in business dialogue and support stakeholders as well as the Domain Architecture team
• Has an end-to-end view and the ability to identify problems and independently search for solutions and shape their implementation
• Good communication skills: fluent in spoken and written English and basic German language is preferred but nut a must.
