In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and evolving our next-generation applications, leveraging a full-stack approach with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and integrating cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities. You will provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and drive the adoption of best practices across our development lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design and lead implementation of robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot, ReactJS/Angular, and Microservices.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services for compute, storage, networking, data analytics, and AI/ML.
• Drive the integration of AI/ML offerings into applications, from concept to deployment, working with models, APIs, and frameworks.
• Lead and contribute to full-stack development, including front-end (ReactJS/Angular) and back-end (Java Spring Boot) components, REST APIs, and data models.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering innovation, continuous learning, and excellence. Review code and guide design decisions.
• Champion clean, secure, and efficient code practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards, security, and performance optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional and global teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and solve complex software problems.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies, promoting automation and efficiency.
• Participate in L3 production support, providing expert analysis and resolution for complex issues, and contributing to root cause analysis.

Your skills and experience

• Extensive Full Stack Experience Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level full-stack applications using Java 8+ (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS strongly preferred, Angular a plus).
• Microservices Architecture Deep understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture, including design patterns and API gateways.
• GCP Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, AI Platform.
• AI/ML Integration (1-2 Years Experience) Practical experience (1-2 years) integrating and leveraging AI/ML offerings within applications, including consuming AI/ML APIs, working with ML models, and understanding data pipelines for AI/ML. Python for AI/ML scripting/integration is a strong plus.
• Database Proficiency Expertise with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL preferred) and/or NoSQL databases. Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• DevOps & Cloud Native Tools Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• API Design Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and testing platforms (Postman).
• Testing Frameworks Experience with unit testing (Junit), integration testing, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Operating Systems & Scripting Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
