Senior ERP Engineer
What you'll do:

• Design simple data models to meet the needs of the finance systems
• Support and maintain data and database systems to meet business delivery specifications
• Perform analysis, design of logical data models, creation of physical models, development, and maintenance of standards of meta data
• Support on day-to-day reporting and data structure issues.
• Work with vendor development team and partner on solutioning.
• Ownership to ensure the proposed design/ architecture, deliverables meet the client expectation and solves the business problem with a high degree of quality.
• Collaborate with other ZS internal expertise teams - Finance, IT, Testing, etc. to ensure best in class technology solution.
• Outlook for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Provide regular updates to team lead and ensure communication is up to the mark.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or another computer related disciplines.
• 3-5 years of relevant consulting-industry experience.
• Experience on graphical/ scripted data modelling and data provisioning using systems like SAP HANA, SQL database modeler or MySQL
• Good hands-on exposure in understanding the source and target systems, designing mapping & converting rules, and validating the desired results.
• Working experience on SQL scripting including stored procedures, table function integration on SAP HANA (or any other database like Oracle etc.) and optimization
• 1+ years' experience with reporting/visualization tools like Business objects, Power Bi, Webi etc.
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and programming ability
• Understanding and/or hands-on experience with SQL across traditional and cloud-based data sources.
• Practical knowledge on how to create efficient datasets from voluminous data sources and increase reusability of datasets in reports yet not compromising response time of the reports
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure and related technologies would be a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ZS is a global firm; fluency in English is required
