IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences, and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking Senior Financial Analyst with a deep understanding of Business Finance, who can balance global objectives with regional market dynamics.
Your Focus:
As a Senior Financial Analyst based in Hyderabad, you will be part of the Business Finance team and will partner with the Regional Finance Director and Commercial Leaders to drive the topline and bottom-line growth for an emerging region. You will drive strategic financial initiatives and performance analysis to support growth in all the key markets. You will be responsible for overseeing complex budgeting and forecasting activities, conducting in-depth variance analysis, spearheading the FP&A for the region, and providing insights to guide decision-making across a diverse geographic footprint.
The role reports to Regional Finance Director.

How will you contribute:

  • Provide on-going challenge and support to the Finance Director & Commercial team to improve performance and manage risks and opportunities in all aspects of Sales and Gross profit parameters. Hold fort on Key Business KPIs viz. Revenue, Mix, Segments, Margins and Working Capital for a large business size.
  • Spearhead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, with a focus on all the key markets and categories.
  • Liaise with the executive team to align financial plans with regional business strategies and regional market needs. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing financial performance analysis, including detailed variance analysis for the management.
  • Identify and drive key financial metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators specifically tailored for emerging market growth.
  • Driving Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews, focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plans. Prepare and present financial insights to senior management and regional leaders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Establish best practices and processes for financial analysis, reporting, and planning that are effective globally and adaptable to regional markets.
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of financial planning tools and systems, ensuring they support regional forecasting and analysis needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Finance Director, executive team, and regional commercial leaders, providing actionable insights on financial performance and market trends.
  • Facilitate business reviews with data analysis, detailed cost and revenue bridges and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and presentation for the higher management and provide useful insights into the business activities. Crisp Presentations and creative visualizations explaining financial business results - Deliver key messages to Category / Business leaders / Executive Regional Management and manoeuvre to a decision.
  • Drive innovation by system automation through creating powerful dashboards, developing one source data models. 

What will you need to be successful:

  • MBA in finance, Accounting, Business Administration from Tier 1 institutions. Professional certification like CA, CWA, CPA, CFA, is a plus.
  • Around 4 to 6 years of overall finance experience in Business Finance. Experience built in Flavors, FMCG environment in a multinational company is highly preferred. 
  • Must have business finance partnering experience.
  • Should be experienced in creating high level financial models to arrive at meaningful conclusions for the management.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting tools is mandatory.
  • Hands on experience with finance software/tools is mandatory.
  • Expertise in Advanced Excel & Power BI is must & mandatory.
  • Knowledge in SQL, Tableau, and any other financial tools is a plus.
  • Team player, hands-on, good communication and ability to adapt to changing environment. 
  • Ability to navigate complex business scenarios and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
