Job Description
Our Finance Velocity Office was designed to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function. This function is shaping our transformation strategy, improving our business operations and enhancing the impact we make as a function. Why velocity? We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Management Reporting Senior Analyst to drive analytics and enable business decision-making. This role will be part of our Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (COE) and will report to the Director of Management Reporting. The primary responsibilities include standardizing, designing, and delivering management reporting and dashboards, managing a growing portfolio of reporting and BI requests, and collaborating with finance stakeholders to meet their reporting needs. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial analysis, data management, and business intelligence tools. This role will also work closely with our Data Strategy & Governance team to standardize data definitions and establish single sources of truth across Finance.
Essential Functions
Drive Analytics Excellence and Stakeholder Engagement
- Design and build standardized reports and interactive dashboards using finance data
- Develop insight-driven visualizations that empower leadership with self-service BI capabilities
- Liaise with key stakeholders to gather requirements and support roll-out activities
Enhance Data Management and Process Excellence
- Collaborate with the Data Strategy & Governance team to standardize data definitions across Finance
- Harmonize data sources from multiple systems to ensure consistency and reliability
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline existing processes
Ensure Quality and Technical Expertise
- Conduct thorough testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for dashboards and reports
- Maintain effective data operations using tools such as Python, PowerBI, or other BI platforms
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data analysis and visualization
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 6 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related quantitative field or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint
• Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets
• Experience in dashboard design and user interface development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
