We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to partner with cross-functional teams and provide strategic consulting and full lifecycle product development.
About You:Experience: Senior 10+ years
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in the development and maintenance of complex web-based applications and enterprise systems (Ruby on Rails, Angular, NodeJS).
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent training/work history.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, enterprise-scale software solutions.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaborative team mindset.
- Deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience guiding development of observable systems with strong metrics and alerting.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work through ambiguity.
- Experience in the financial services or lending domain (preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Mentoring and coaching both clients and Modus teammates from the comfort of home.
- Deep diving into customer needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Exploring new tech and continuously learning—because software is always evolving!
- Sharing your knowledge and participating actively in the community.
- Overlap with at least 6 hours US EDT hours daily is expected.
- Reliable high-speed internet is a must!
