Your key responsibilities
- Serve as the Team’s subject matter expert for all things related to Workday Adaptive Planning
- You will be in charge of Business Requests analysis to define appropriate Design, Development, Tests Deployment, Documentation, and Operations to ensure and the complete Business satisfaction
- You will be responsible for Build and Configuring the Workday Adaptive application to meet business process and application requirements.
- Create design, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields based on use cases
- Run production deployment and releases through established release management processes
- Partnering with source system SMEs to analyze and design dimensional models to integrate with enterprise data warehouse and Adaptive Planning
- Handling data integration schedules, including inter-model integrations and end-to-end data ingestion from source systems, i.e., Workday, an enterprise data hub, 3rd party systems
- Implement system updates to align with business changes such as M&A, departmental restructuring, new legal entities, and other corporate events
- Integrate the system with other critical applications within the company (Workday, Microsoft O365, etc.)
- Design, build, validation, and deliver Workday and Adaptive reports dashboards, scorecards, worksheets, and discovery boards that meet the needs of key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer
- Manage multiple datasets and automatic schedules for refreshing data in Workday Adaptive Work
Your skills and experience
Workday Adaptive Planning certification with experience in discovery, design, and build expertise with end-to-end experience in leading WD Adaptive Planning and Financial implementation and another advanced module in three or more E2E implementations.
Must Have Skills:
- Understanding of relational databases, including intermediate-level SQL
- Workday Adaptive Certified with three or more end-to-end Workday Adaptive (Workforce Planning) Implementation Experience
- Working experience with Data Integration, Data Quality and Data Architecture project life cycle, best practices
- Working experience in complex modelling and dataset transformation within the space of Workforce Planning (Headcount + Cost)
- Experience with internet protocols, networks, and related technologies, including HTTP, XML, REST, and Soap web services
- Must have experience with Agile and Integration Solution Development
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with Adaptive Insights technology in both a design and development capacity
- Experienced in Financial Budgeting and Planning applications
- Experienced in solving business problems with hands-on coding, logical model creation
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Workday Adaptive Insights certification
- Experience with Workday/Adaptive Insights and/or other leading Cloud-based SaaS EPM Implementations (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle EPM software, etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge and experience in building foundational planning and modeling elements such as Levels, currency, dimensions, attributes, accounts, calendars, and security
- Developing Digital solutions (e.g., predictive planning, scenario-based models, ERP, process automation, analytics, and visualizations); ability to develop and execute plans to achieve future state needs (e.g., operating model structure with shared services, COEs, spans, and layers, etc.).
- Deep functional knowledge of workforce/financial planning systems and processes
- Well-versed with BI/data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau
- Experience on Workday PRISM would be added advantage
