About the Role   

In this opportunity as a Sr. Software Engineer, you will: 

  • 8+ years in a specialized SAP ABAP role with strong hands-on delivery.
  • 4+ years in customer-facing roles (workshops, demos, stakeholder management).
  • Expert OOABAP with solid knowledge of design patterns and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience across ECC and S/4HANA (including migrations, upgrades, and greenfield/brownfield scenarios).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across interfaces, performance, dumps, and configuration interactions.
  • In-depth understanding of SD, MM, FI, including AR/AP processes and O2C/P2P flows.
  • Proficiency with APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), XML, and integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience building test cases/scripts, executing SIT/UAT, and managing defects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to business and technical audiences.

About You  

You’re a fit for the role of Sr. Software Engineer if you have the following required qualifications: 

  • SAP ABAP/OOABAP, Enhancements/Exits/BADIs, BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs
  • S/4HANA (Core Data Services, ABAP in Eclipse/ADT), ECC
  • ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Next for SAP
  • SOAP/REST, XML, integration middleware exposure (e.g., PI/PO, CPI – if applicable)
  • Version control and DevOps tools (e.g., CTS+, ChaRM/SolMan/Jira/Azure DevOps – as relevant)
  • Exposure to VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), BRIM, RE-FX, SAP 5.2B (clarify module/version context if needed).
  • Experience in transaction tax (VAT) requirements gathering and compliance design.
  • Familiarity with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Next configuration/deployment patterns.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and best practices (e.g., LSMW, BAPIs, CDS, AMDP, IDocs, ALE)
