Senior Integration Developer

We’re looking for a Pune-based Senior Integration Developer to join Procore’s Finance and Legal Technologies team In this role, you’ll join our global team and serve as the technical backbone of our Finance application landscape

As a Senior Integration Developer you’ll partner with Business Systems Analysts to work on high-stakes Operational Support (ensuring our existing integrations run flawlessly) and New Development (building net-new automations in Workato). You will be the first line of defense for integration errors and a key contributor to our roadmap of "spot enhancements" that improve system reliability.

This position reports into Director of Finance and Legal Technologies and will be based in our Pune, India office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

1. Integration Operations & Support (60% of Time)

• Log Analysis & Resolution: Proactively monitor integration health logs across our Finance stack. You will own the resolution of errors in real-time to ensure data integrity.

• Incident Management: Deep-dive into error patterns to identify root causes and propose permanent "spot enhancements" to prevent recurrence.

• Observability: Maintain and improve our monitoring jobs to catch issues before they impact the business.

• System Health: Ensure seamless data flow between applications like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Coupa.

2. Development & Automation (40% of Time)

• Workato Build-outs: Design and implement net-new integrations for simpler logic flows and automate manual data transfers.

• Reconciliation Automation: Build tools and workflows to automate the reconciliation of data between disparate systems, reducing manual Finance overhead.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain a clear library of integration maps and support playbooks.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ Years Experience: Background in integration engineering, ETL development, or application support (specifically within Finance or SaaS environments).

• Workato Proficiency: Hands-on experience building recipes and managing connections in Workato (or similar tools like Tray.io/MuleSoft).

• Data Fluency: Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and flat-file processing. Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.

• API Knowledge: Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and common authentication methods (OAuth, API Keys).

• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in 2-week sprints and documenting every win in Jira.

• Self-Driven Learner: Must be able to "pick up the tool and run," scaling your knowledge of our environment with minimal hand-holding.

• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy the "detective work" of finding why a data packet failed to sync.

• Shift Alignment: Ability to provide overlap with US (CST) hours for hand-offs and standups.

• Communication: Clear, concise communication via Slack
