Job Title: Senior Java Developer with AWS
Location: Pune
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures, deploying applications on AWS, and ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of systems.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend services using Java and related technologies
•Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
•Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and ECS/EKS
•Implement event-driven architectures using tools like SNS, SQS, or Kafka
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers
•Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices
•Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards
•Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes
•Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
•Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot / Spring MVC
•Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
•Experience in building and deploying microservices architecture
•Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
•Experience working with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
•Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
•Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
•Experience with version control systems (Git)
•Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) or container orchestration
•Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
•Experience with serverless architecture
•Understanding of DevOps practices
•Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
•AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)
•Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
