Overview: The Senior Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies to retain current accounts at scale. Account management, including proactive renewal and upsell motions and insight gathering to ensure we build product improvements to support key customer needs, will be crucial to your success. As we expand, you will own the full customer lifecycle post-sale, strengthening retention, driving renewals, and amplifying our brand through exceptional customer relationships, ensuring customers become powerful advocates of our brand. You’ll be responsible for developing customer success stories, designing co-marketing programs, supporting customer onboarding, and contributing to our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts by acquiring valuable backlinks from reputable partners

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operationalize programs for long-term engagement, serve as the primary relationship manager for key B2B and B2C customers, ensuring high satisfaction, loyalty, and continued value realization
  • Identify, develop, and showcase impactful customer case studies, success stories, and testimonials to support brand positioning and market credibility
  • Serve as an advocate for customers internally, ensuring their voices inform product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and research priorities
  • Lead co-marketing campaigns with select customers, including webinars, guest blog posts, and event collaborations, to spotlight brand value and deepen partnerships
  • Support Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy by proactively acquiring high-value backlinks from customer websites, industry publications, and educational partners
  • Analyze customer, product, and market data to inform GTM strategies and deliver case studies
  • Organize regular check-ins with customers to ensure engagement, adoption, and awareness of new features and resources
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI writing and EdTech trends to position our brand compellingly and provide consultative value to customers

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in business development/sales or account management, including proven results in B2B and B2C environments (EdTech/High growth SaaS/AI industry preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience in managing renewals, driving retention, and building customer advocacy programs
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, brand) to deliver seamless customer and brand experiences
  • Strong track record creating customer-facing collateral—case studies, testimonials, campaign assets
  • Working knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tactics, including backlink acquisition and relationship-building with partners
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for customer success and retention strategies
  • Fully able to operate cross-functionally to align customer needs with internal goals and deliverables
  • Highly organized self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment

This role is eligible for hire in India.

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States, Canada, India and the Netherlands. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered benefits, and other types of compensation.
