To that end, our Senior Manager - East is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Crozier’s storage and service operations within the assigned territory. The Senior Manager, as the business owner of the territory, has accountability for driving Financial Results, Business Development, Positive Employee Experience, Customer Satisfaction and Safety within the specific territory. Provides leadership on all aspects of Operational Excellence and partners with other functional teams to coordinate strategic selling and operational efforts for the territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee financial performance of territory by partnering with the Finance Manager and General Manager to analyze trends, monitor P&L, develop and execute appropriate plans to achieve targets based on current performance and forecast trends.
Assist in the structuring deals to acquire new business in effort to maintain a high rate of growth, favorable rate of return and economic margin, increasing territory share, and improving profitability by achieving operating leverage.
Ensure appropriate organizational structure/alignment with North America and Regional model, plan and resources are in place to meet the needs of customers, operational metrics and financial goals, making changes as needed
Oversee the Regional Leadership Team ensuring hands-on leadership and decisions made are based on review and analysis of activity to understand resource allocation, business capacity, challenges and risk/opportunities.
Hold leadership staff accountable for safety & security procedures are followed and continuously improving the quality of service
Drive revenue growth for territory through partnership with the Customer Success team- developing, identifying and implementing selling strategies for the territory, including the cultivation of relationships with top customers in territory and account renewals
Expedite revenue generation by - sponsoring accounts, removing obstacles,identifying new clients, adjacent market segments, and service offerings with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Cultivate leadership development with consistent standards, talent assessment, training opportunities, and implementing both new hire training and continuous improvement training as needed.
Ensures Development Plans are in place, acted upon, regularly reviewed and completed by all exempt employees and high potential hourly employees, and that annual objectives are set and measured for all employees within the territory.
Partners with HR on development activities to address the key competencies required for success
REQUIREMENTS:
7-10 years’ experience leading/managing in a customer focused service industry
Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required
Operational knowledge of fine arts logistics industry, including storage and services
Prior experience working in a matrix management organization
Previous experience in sales, managing client accounts, developing client relationships and maintaining a high degree of client retention.
Strong P&L experience of similar scope and size
Strong business and financial acumen
Demonstrated ability to build short and long-term business plans
Solid understanding and proven ability of increasing performance through leveraging of labor, driving price and driving growth. Ability to drive top line revenue and bottom line profit. Must have the ability to communicate all products and services to internal and external customers.
