Senior Manager - Global Business Development (Contract Position - Remote)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and execution-driven Business Development professional to support Crunchyroll’s India strategy on a 6-month contract. This role will work closely with the Senior Director, India, to drive day-to-day execution across telco, aggregator, and platform partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing external partners, coordinating internal stakeholders, and delivering against timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the India Business Development team on execution of key distribution and bundling partnerships
- Coordinate internal teams (legal, marketing, product, finance) for approvals, asset sharing, and implementation tracking
- Assist with structuring, negotiating, and closing strategic partnership deals
- Own follow-ups, partner onboarding checklists, meeting notes, and action items across all India BD engagements
- Monitor partner performance, usage metrics, and reporting; support optimization efforts in collaboration with internal analytics teams
- Help prepare materials for leadership updates, internal reviews, and partner meetings (e.g. strategy docs, pitch decks, deal summaries)
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitive bundling models across telco/OTT ecosystem in India
- Maintain organized documentation of partnership pipelines, contract terms, and communication records
About You:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or partner operations in the digital media, OTT, or telco space
- Hands-on experience executing deals and coordinating implementation across internal and external teams
- Familiarity with telco and platform bundling models in India
- Comfortable managing timelines, dependencies, and detailed project execution
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills — can represent Crunchyroll with external partners when needed
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Passion for anime or pop culture is a bonus
