Overview
The Senior MBR Business Consultant is responsible for the successful completion of assigned client implementation project activities of Mitratech’s Managed Bill Review offering within Mitratech’s enterprise legal management software. These implementation project activities included requirements analysis and definition, configuration of software, conference room pilots, testing, and go-live support for the client. The Consultant works under the direction of the engagement Project Manager, but may also be required to manage and lead small to medium engagements. The Consultant plans, researches, and analyzes the business requirements of the client with respect to corporate legal billing; makes reasoned decisions after assessing the circumstances, and then provides recommendations along with the risks and issues involved with each alternative to the client.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Leading multiple projects in varying phases of implementation simultaneously.
o Meeting directly with the client’s business users to identify project objectives.
o Working within the overall project plan and schedule.
o Providing feedback to customers and creating structured documentation, including specifications, scopes of work, and periodic status reports.
o Advising client on database configuration options based on best practices.
o Leading the business requirements gathering process for client configuration nuances.
o Configuring the system to utilize the out-of-the-box MBR module.
o Perform testing, including preparation of test scenarios. Overseeing client user acceptance testing.
o Collaborating with customer team participants, Client Managers, and Engineering to assure project success.
o Facilitating communication upward and across the internal project team, including project status, justifications for variances, and technical information (architecture, design, and implementation objectives).
o Ensuring that all project deliverables are complete (broad-based perspective).
o Basic understanding of Legal Billing and Financial Management
Requirements & Skills:
o Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required
o 5+ years of experience
o Strong attention to detail
o Strong presentation skills

o Strong sense of ownership and urgency
o Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, clients, and prospects

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Desired Skills & Experience:
o Understanding of Web Services SOAP and REST
