Your RoleReporting directly to the CMO, this is a founding, hands-on role focused on building and scaling our Google Ads and Bing Ads acquisition strategy from the ground up. You’ll take full ownership of these channels and progressively expand into YouTube and Display based on performance. This is your opportunity to define our entire paid search playbook — with the potential to grow into a broader leadership position if results follow.
We’ve yet to scale Paid Search, not due to lack of opportunity — search demand is massive — but because we prioritised other channels first and didn’t yet have the in-house expertise required to win. With the strongest product currently in the category and with your skillset, we have everything we need to replicate our success across other channels and dominate paid search.
Key Responsibilities🔹 Campaign Ownership and ScalingTake full ownership of Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts, building and scaling campaigns from scratch.
Expand into YouTube Ads and Display as performance milestones are hit.
Architect full-funnel paid search strategies — from targeting and structure to landing page conversion — with aggressive CAC/LTV goals.
Launch and iterate high-frequency tests across ad copy, bidding, and audience strategies.
Monitor campaign health using GA4, Google Ads, and custom dashboards — acting fast on insights.
Drive optimization based on granular analysis of CPA, ROAS, and retention.
Develop internal frameworks for reporting, goal tracking, and campaign prioritization.
Collaborate with product and design teams to optimize landing pages for paid traffic conversion.
Define creative needs and ad copy briefs, especially for Display and YouTube formats.
Ensure tracking architecture is bulletproof — including GTM setup, GA4 configuration, and custom conversion events.
Stay ahead of changes to Google/Bing ad policies and develop compliant strategies for policy-sensitive products.
Proactively identify risks and workarounds that maintain performance without violating guidelines.
Build SOPs, naming conventions, and campaign templates that allow for speed and scale.
Identify automation opportunities in bid optimization, reporting, and creative versioning.
Launch and scale Google Ads and Bing Ads as entirely new acquisition channels — owning strategy, execution, and performance from zero.
Help grow our user base from 30M to 100M within the next 12 months by delivering CAC-efficient growth through paid search.
Build tracking architecture from scratch — including GTM, GA4, and custom conversion events — ensuring bulletproof attribution.
Navigate Google Ads policy limitations with creative, compliant workarounds that still drive performance.
Collaborate with product and design to optimize landing pages and funnel flows for paid traffic.
Write creative briefs and help iterate performance-driven ad copy, banners, and YouTube creatives.
Earn broader scope by consistently delivering results — with the potential to expand into YouTube, Display, and even team leadership over time.
4–6+ years of experience managing Google Ads and/or Bing Ads with clear performance impact (e.g., CAC reduction, revenue growth, ROAS lift).
Proven track record of scaling high-budget paid search campaigns in fast-growth environments (e.g., SaaS, DTC, adult/dating, or igaming).
Expert-level understanding of tracking setups — including GTM, GA4, conversion event mapping, UTMs, and custom attribution.
Experience setting up conversion tracking across complex funnels and event-based user journeys.
Advanced skills in campaign structuring, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation across Search, YouTube, and Display.
Strong analytical mindset — you live in spreadsheets, dashboards, and performance reports.
Familiarity with landing page testing and conversion rate optimization in collaboration with product/design teams.
Comfortable writing creative briefs and iterating on ad copy, YouTube scripts, or display assets to improve CTR and performance.
