About You

We are seeking a seasoned and proven product leader to lead the strategic direction and execution of key parts of the AppDirect commerce platform, including checkout, order management, and productivity. This role is essential for enhancing our platform's capabilities and ensuring a seamless, engaging buying journey for marketplace customers around the world.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

• Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key commerce and administrative functions, aligning with business goals and market needs.
• Customer Focus: Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive data to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
• Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration. Define and track success metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development process.
• Scalability and Optimization: Optimize the purchase and checkout processes for scalability, efficiency, and user satisfaction, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 4-6 years in product management, with a focus on commerce platforms, order management, shopping cart, checkout, and fulfillment services processes. Experience with eCommerce or subscription billing is a plus.
• Track record of building AI-based product recommendations based on customer signals and purchase behavior.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of digital commerce technologies, enterprise search, data visualization, and event-driven architecture, and UX design principles.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams towards a common vision.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools and metrics-driven decision-making.
• Communication: Excellent ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
