Zendesk is seeking a Senior Product Manager to work on our messaging product. In this role, you will work with a talented and driven team of engineers, designers, marketers, sales & success experts, customer advocates, and business managers, all collectively focused on delivering an awesome product experience to all of our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Lead initiatives that increase messaging product adoption among current chat customers, ensuring a smooth and positive transition experience. 
- Define and manage the product roadmap and rollout plan for messaging initiatives. 
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute on goals with transparency and clear communication. 
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and champion exceptional experiences through research, experimentation, user testing, and data insights. 
- Collaborate with designers to identify product challenges and uncover unmet customer needs. 
- Work closely with engineering teams to plan sprints, clarify user stories, and provide the context needed for successful delivery. 
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of product management experience in high-growth or complex product environments. 
- Strong problem-solving ability and experience building customer-facing products. 
- Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles and how they inform great product experiences. 
- Experience with analytics products is a plus. 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting and discussing ideas with stakeholders. 
- Familiarity with SQL or BigQuery and comfort analyzing product usage data independently.
