As our Senior Product Operations Manager (India), you will report to the Head of Product Operations and serve as a high-impact extension of the global team. This strategic role requires a strong hybrid of product and engineering expertise to partner with leaders in India, driving global alignment and operational excellence across time zones. You won’t just facilitate processes; you will fundamentally improve the way teams work together, translating product strategy into execution with speed and clarity. Reports to: Head of Product Operations (US based)
Act as the regional point of contact for Product Ops, embedding global practices locally.
Support India-based product and engineering leaders with quarterly/annual planning, roadmap prioritization, and capacity alignment.
Ensure regional execution is tightly connected to global product strategy and themes.
Drive operational rhythms in-region (status reviews, retrospectives, reporting cadences).
Improve cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, and Design in India.
Anticipate and remove execution blockers early, especially those slowed by timezone gaps.
Ensure adoption and consistency of Product Ops frameworks (planning templates, reporting standards, playbooks).
Partner with engineering leadership on velocity tracking, dependency management, and delivery forecasting.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in engineering + product reporting (dashboards, tooling, metrics).
Drive adoption and optimization of tools (Linear, Jira, Sigma, data integrations) to improve transparency and decision-making.
Orchestrate complex, cross-team initiatives, ensuring multiple product and engineering teams are aligned on shared milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Bridge conversations between product priorities and engineering capacity, ensuring clarity on trade-offs.
Coach India-based PMs and engineering managers on best practices in Product Ops.
Serve as a trusted partner and escalation path for regional teams, building confidence and alignment.
Provide feedback loops from India to the global Product Ops function, ensuring regional needs are factored into strategy.
You have 8+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or a similar role at a SaaS company.
You have a strong understanding of product development cycles and engineering practices, like agile, sprint planning, and tracking dependencies.
You understand modern software concepts (like APIs, microservices, and technical debt) well enough to partner with engineers on risks and dependencies.
You are comfortable using tools like Linear, Jira, and analytics dashboards, and working with engineering metrics.
You can analyze data and present it as clear, actionable insights for product and engineering leaders.
You have a strong business understanding and can show how your work connects to business goals (like faster delivery or better product adoption).
You have proven experience managing large, complex projects across multiple teams, breaking them down into clear, actionable plans.
You have direct experience using a company-wide goal-setting system like OKRs.
You are a clear communicator and strong facilitator who can comfortably influence both technical and product audiences.
You have experience working with global teams and aligning work across different time zones.
You are a self-starter who takes ownership of challenges and brings clarity to complex, ambiguous situations.
You have a background in engineering or as a Technical PM, which helps you understand technical risks and build credibility with engineering teams.
You are skilled at guiding teams through process changes and building strong relationships to respectfully influence stakeholders.
You have experience helping teams merge their processes or systems after an acquisition.
