Education: B.E. in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Reporting to Technology Manager

Experience:

  • Minimum 6-8 years developing N-tiered systems in a .NET/SQL environment with C#.

  • STRONG knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns

  • Experience with.NET core

  • Experience developing ASP.NET applications with use of client-side JavaScript libraries including Angular

  • Proficiency with web development standards including Angular 2+, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

  • Knowledge of design patterns and understanding of OOD/OOP practices

  • Experience in cloud-based development (Azure PAAS)- Azure services including Service Bus, App Services and Azure Functions, Azure SQL Services.

  • Experience writing mock unit test and integration tests

  • Experience troubleshooting issues with users - and ability to work as a team

  • Passionate about software development.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience developing software for a commercial product.

  • Experience developing cloud-based web software.

  • Other Skills or Certifications: (First list requirements, followed by preferences.

The Senior Product Software Engineer will be responsible to:

  • Development and release of Scandinavian hybrid and pure cloud products

  • Provide support and mentor junior staff

  • Review code

The following mandatory skill set is required for the engineer:

  • .NET core including ASP. Net

  • HTML/CSS and exposure to at least one JavaScript framework

  • Cloud-based development (Azure)

  • Write Unit Tests

  • Use Mocking Frameworks

Additional Job Description

  • Design and implement solutions to market problems that are scalable and perform at a high-level by working with product management.

  • Work in a supervisory capacity with team members and provide guidance to team members

  • Take ownership for a features technical design and its overall implementation in the product.

  • Translate software requirements into concise and robust programming code

  • Participate in planning games, code reviews, and iteration demos.

  • Provide tier 4 support for customer issues.

  • Maintain documentation according to content and timing standards .
