Position OverviewThe Senior Product Software Engineer is a key contributor to product development initiatives, responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership in Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in product engineering.
Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & Architecture- Design and implement robust software solutions using C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core (preferably .NET 8+), and modern web frameworks like Angular or React JS.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server 2019/2022 and Azure SQL databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
- Integrate AI-enabled tools and services into product features where applicable.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in application design.
- Conduct code reviews and static analysis to uphold coding standards and quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leads and architects to align with infrastructure, security, and performance goals.
- Contribute to necessary Architecture documentation
- Work with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2022+ for CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production release cycles.
- Contribute to release planning and environment setup.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and UX teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6–9 years of experience in enterprise software development.
- Proficiency in:
- C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core
- SQL Server 2019/2022, Azure SQL
- Angular or React JS
- HTML5, CSS, JSON and JS libraries
- Azure DevOps, Visual Studio 2022+
- Agile/Scrum methodologies, TDD, Unit Testing
- Prompt Engineering
- Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models.
- Understanding of and experience in Responsive Design.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Exposure to AI/ML integration in software products.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in performance tuning and deadlock resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making.
- Ability to mentor and lead by example.
