• Service Solutions & AI is the domain revolutionizing Deutsche Bank's Private Bank through holistic process automation and AI innovation. Within this critical area, the "Customer Journey Solutions" team is central to shaping its future. We make a significant contribution to the target architecture by driving a common platform, fostering growth initiatives, and optimizing processes. Our key initiatives include the operation and development of the dbCORE low-code platform for process design, creating online product sales and self-service offerings for all channels, building a dedicated product sales and service shop for easy integration, and delivering PB-wide Ident & Sign solutions.
• As a senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of applications within the Investment Proposition domain. You will participate in the full range of testing activities—test analysis, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and coordination of test cycles—while contributing to test automation across unit, integration, and UI layers.
• In this role, you will collaborate closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Feature (Scrum) teams, and Product Owners to support delivery of high‑quality software. This position focuses on hands‑on testing and structured contribution.

Your key responsibilities

• Execute the full set of test activities including test analysis, test case design, test documentation, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Support planning and coordination of test cycles under guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests across unit, integration, and UI layers.
• Assist in extending and maintaining in‑house automation tools and frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with Dev/QA engineers within Scrum Feature teams to deliver stable and well‑tested features.
• Use test management tools (e.g., HP ALM) for test design, documentation, and progress tracking.
• Perform web application testing using Selenium with Java.
• Apply requirements engineering understanding to ensure test coverage alignment with business needs.
• Demonstrate initiative in identifying defects and quality gaps while escalating complex issues to senior QA engineers.
• Continuously learn and adapt to evolving tools, frameworks, and engineering practices.

Your skills and experience

• Technical Skills
  • Hands on experience in test case creation, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Practical experience with Selenium + Java for web application testing.
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks (unit, integration, UI).
  • Experience using test management tools such as HP ALM.
  • Understanding of agile delivery and working in Scrum teams.
  • Ability to maintain and enhance existing automation scripts.
