Scope:
• As a QA Engineer (Manual), candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
• They will work closely with product teams, developers, and other stakeholders to design and execute detailed manual tests, identify bugs, and verify that the software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
• There expertise will be essential in building and executing comprehensive test plans, reporting issues, and supporting the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Our current technical environment:
• Postman for API testing, enabling you to efficiently test and validate web services.
• A variety of web application testing techniques, ensuring seamless functionality across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Integration testing across diverse formats, including CSV, EDI, IDOC, JSON, and others, allowing you to work on complex systems integrations.
• Mobile testing, ensuring high-quality experiences on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Other commonly used tools are WinSCP, Jira, Spira, Cycle etc
What you’ll do:
• Analyze and review technical requirements
• Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and improve product quality.
• Conduct regression, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) based on release cycles.
• Provide detailed test reports and KPI-driven insights on test coverage, defect trends, and product stability.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process optimizations and tool enhancements.
• Meet or exceed KPIs related to defect discovery, resolution time, and test coverage completion.
What we are looking for:
• 4 to 8 years of experience in manual software testing, ideally in the supply chain domain or other equivalent domain.
• Proven experience of testing complex applications across multiple platforms.
• Strong background in regression, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) within an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in designing and executing manual test plans based on detailed technical and business requirements.
• Ability to analyse technical documentation and identify test cases that ensure complete product validation.
• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., spira).
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices and ability to create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, and reports).
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Leadership abilities to mentor junior QA engineers and lead by example in best practices.
• Strong attention to detail while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all tasks.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
