Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with expertise in web technologies and a background in automation. You will enhance quality assurance efforts for our web-based applications while transitioning our Moldflow Injection Molding working group to web technologies. You will guide the team in adopting automation, design testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications and ensure the quality and performance of our products.
You will work in a hybrid environment based in Pune, India, reporting directly to a Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA efforts for web-based applications to ensure high quality and performance
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Maintain automation frameworks for web applications
- Implement automated test scripts and ensure their integration into CI/CD pipelines
- Architect comprehensive testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications
- Ensure coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Work with development teams to understand requirements and provide QA insights
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance and automation
- Apply knowledge of web technologies and Moldflow Injection Molding processes to enhance quality
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in web QA and automation
- Seek opportunities to enhance QA processes and team efficiency
- Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in QA and automation tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in quality assurance with a focus on web technologies
- Experience building automation frameworks
- Expertise in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework)
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and stakeholders, with strong teamwork skills
- Problem-solving skills
