Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in web technologies and a background in automation. You will enhance quality assurance efforts for our web-based applications while transitioning our Moldflow Injection Molding working group to web technologies. You will guide the team in adopting automation, design testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications, and ensure the quality and performance of our products. You will work in a hybrid environment based in Pune, India, reporting directly to a Director.
Responsibilities

Lead QA efforts for web-based applications to ensure high quality and performance

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases

Maintain automation frameworks for web applications

Implement automated test scripts and ensure their integration into CI/CD pipelines

Architect comprehensive testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications

Ensure coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing

Work with development teams to understand requirements and provide QA insights

Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance and automation

Apply knowledge of web technologies and Moldflow Injection Molding processes to enhance quality

Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in web QA and automation

Seek opportunities to enhance QA processes and team efficiency

Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in QA and automation tools
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
5-8 years in quality assurance with a focus on web technologies

Experience building automation frameworks
-
Expertise in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
-
Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests

Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and stakeholders, with strong teamwork skills
