Position Overview
Autodesk ACS (Autodesk Construction Solutions) Mobile Platform team is looking for a talented and highly passionate Software QA Engineer to join its Mobile Quality team and ensure to deliver the best quality for software products and solutions to solve interesting problems in the construction industry.
As a Software QA Engineer, specifically on Mobile apps, you will lead bi-weekly mobile app releases, develop and execute test plans, contribute to automation, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality across features.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform Mobile Platform bi-weekly app release quality and management
Communicate with all teams to receive team-level sign-off for each feature
Perform platform regression testing, run automation testing provided, large project testing
Confirm final Sign-off on each mobile release
Verification of platform Tasks and Bugs that are developed in an ongoing manner and eventually delivered in a release
Testing and Verification of platform specific new features, or features requiring mobile development
Beginner/Proficient in Planning, documenting and executing Test plans - in regards to large new feature testing
Assist with EUI support - reproducing issue, communicating with teams, finding workarounds, etc
Leading standards for all things QA
Proficient/Expert in Testcase management (via Testmo)
Beginner/Proficient in Automation test writing and maintenance
Provide Automation support for Mobile Platform RC testing, Mobile QA testing, any special testing needed (large project, database, help testing with other teams etc)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (in Computer Science or other engineering discipline.)
5+ years of experience in QA
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of QA/QE methodologies and quality best practices
Experience with test planning, test design, execution, and reporting
Proficiency in manual testing for mobile applications
Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Ability to create and maintain test cases & test plans
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to automated testing concepts and tools
Ability to learn software systems quickly
Self-directed, willingness to take initiative and committed to deliver on time
Ability to work with remote and international team members
Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Experience using version control systems (Git)
