About the Role
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Linux, Docker, and JavaScript-based BDD frameworks. The ideal candidate should be able to understand technical documentation and create clear, comprehensive test cases. Experience with Kubernetes is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, Cucumber, Cypress and BDD frameworks.
- Design, write, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional (technical) requirements.
- Work with Linux environments for test execution, debugging, and environment setup.
- Use Docker to create, manage, and troubleshoot test environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and provide input on improving test coverage and automation efficiency.
- (Good to have) Deploy, test, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- (Good to have) Knowledge about leveraging generative AI in test automation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience working in Linux command-line environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Docker (building images, running containers, debugging).
- Solid understanding of BDD principles and experience using Cucumber, Cypress.
- Proficient in JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
- Ability to analyze requirements and documentation to create effective test cases.
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git). Experience setting up CI pipelines in Jenkins/Git or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services).
