We are in search for a Senior Sales Engineer based in India to proactively assist with the technical aspects of all sales activities for customers within assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Sales Executives in assigned territories to identify opportunities for iDirect solutions.
- Act in a consultative role to customers and partners designing satellite-based IP networks.
- Create and deliver technical presentations and white papers as needed.
- Perform equipment demonstrations and lab testing of network solutions.
- Assist in the development of formal sales proposals to ensure technical accuracy.
- Act as an interface between the customer or partner and iDirect on technical issues.
- Provide technical feedback to Product Marketing.
- Plan and execute customer engagements involving implementation, onsite support and training.
- Perform professional services engagements including system design, integration and network performance analysis.
- Support sales regions globally as required.
- Ability to travel; 40% or higher travel is typical.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years designing and implementing satellite networks
- Experience with cloud and 5G NTN architecture will be advantageous.
- Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and IP troubleshooting.
- Experience with VoIP, IPSec, VPN, TCP spoofing, QoS and packet analysis tools.
- Knowledge of RF/satellite communications, link budgets, RF design, teleport design and commissioning.
- Ability to act in a consultative role to ensure customer needs are met.
- Ability to coordinate technical features with business values.
