About Us:

Ovation Law Firm is a fast-growing, consumer-focused law firm based in the United States, committed to delivering exceptional legal services while fostering a high-performance, accountable, and supportive workplace. As we continue to scale nationally with a remote-first workforce, our internal technology and systems play a critical role in keeping our teams productive, secure, and connected.

We operate in a fast-paced environment where reliability, responsiveness, and operational discipline matter.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to own platform engineering for our Salesforce org. This is a highly hands-on technical role focused on Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and data architecture.

You will work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Intake Managers, Attorneys, Operations, and the Data Team to build and maintain scalable, reliable Salesforce solutions that power intake, case management, and marketing-attribution workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Apex Development

  • Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous jobs (Batch, Queueable, and Schedulable).
  • Implement maintainable trigger frameworks with a single-trigger-per-object architecture.
  • Write Apex unit tests with 85%+ code coverage and meaningful assertions.
  • Diagnose and resolve governor limit, CPU time, and performance-related issues in production environments.

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Build and maintain custom Lightning Web Components for intake, case management, and reporting workflows.
  • Convert legacy Visualforce and Aura components to LWC where appropriate.
  • Utilize Lightning Message Service for cross-component communication.

Integrations

  • Build inbound and outbound REST API integrations using Apex callouts and Connected Apps.
  • Configure Named Credentials and Auth Providers for OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external platforms including lead-source intake applications, BigQuery, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Ringba, Five9, HubSpot, Lob, and other third-party systems.
  • Build and maintain Platform Events and Change Data Capture pipelines.

Data & Architecture

  • Write performant SOQL queries with selective filtering and governor limit awareness.
  • Utilize SOSL for cross-object searching where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators on custom object schema design and broader data architecture decisions.

Release Management

  • Manage Salesforce code using source-driven development practices (SFDX projects, unlocked packages, or 2GP packages where appropriate).
  • Utilize Git for version control and structured pull request reviews.
  • Deploy changes through Change Sets, SFDX CLI, Gearset, Copado, or equivalent deployment tools.
  • Manage sandbox refresh cycles and data seeding strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1) — required.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) — required.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD2) — strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level Apex development skills, including trigger frameworks, asynchronous processing patterns, and fflib (or equivalent frameworks).
  • Strong Lightning Web Component development skills using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jest testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, governor limits, and asynchronous Salesforce architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-tenant architecture and platform best practices.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with at least 3–5 external systems via REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with SFDX CLI, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD-style deployment workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification.
  • Experience working in legal, insurance, financial services, or marketing-heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution systems, including UTM tracking, gclid/fbclid handling, and advertising platform APIs.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as Gearset, Copado, or AutoRabit.
  • Experience working with unlocked packages and 2GP package architecture.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, HubSpot, Lob, Five9, Ringba, Meta Marketing API, and Google Ads API.

Tools & Technology Stack:

  • Salesforce Lightning Experience (Sales Cloud)
  • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow Builder
  • VS Code with Salesforce Extension Pack, SFDX CLI
  • GitHub, Jira, Slack
  • Postman, Workbench, Salesforce Inspector
  • BigQuery (read-side consumer)

What We Look For:

  • Pragmatic mindset — understands when clean configuration is the right solution, even when custom development is possible.
  • Ownership mentality — proactively identifies and resolves issues before they impact users.
  • Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain technical concepts, Apex behavior, and architectural tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach — values testing, documentation, and thorough code reviews.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time role (40 hours/week).
  • 100% remote work environment.
  • 6 paid time-off (PTO) days per year.
  • Opportunity to work closely with Operations and Leadership in a growing, modern law firm.
  • Long-term growth and stability in a high-impact Senior Developer role.

This position is only open to candidates located in India. Resumes must be submitted in English. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
