Role Profile- Join our Primary Markets Services Team within the Markets Division and be responsible for crafting, developing and supporting Salesforce-based services.
- Working within a global teams of engineers across a number of globally connected products to define how changes should be implemented.
- Drive technical projects to ensure successful delivery on time and to budget.
- Support a diverse team including Business Analysis, DevOps and QA.
- Track record designing, implementing and supporting globally connected systems based on Salesforce while working with global teams.
- Crafting well-engineered solutions under time pressure.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and object-oriented design.
- Understanding of agile development process and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Copado)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to dive into issues and resolve them without supervision.
- History of planning technical projects and delivering to plan.
- Mentoring and growing junior team members.
- Ability to build relationships with global partners.
- Previously acted as a system domain authority.
- Numerous examples where you have influenced/defined business functionality.
- At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce as a developer.
- Integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Apex and Visualforce.
- Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows.
- Lightning web components, Lightning platform.
- One or more of CPQ, Sales, Service Cloud.
- Experience of testing and debugging apex code, ensuring quality and performance of the Salesforce application.
- Experience with Experience Cloud.
- Knowledge of financial markets.
- Technical enthusiast, curious about new technologies and tools.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent subject.
- Strong English language skills including reading and writing.
- Crafting new globally distributed systems. This will require collaborating with the architecture and other technical teams to come to a consensus on design and then technically leading these to successful delivery. While doing this you will apply your detailed object-oriented design knowledge to build simple and efficient solutions.
- Work with the team to build plans for the successful delivery and ensure that plans are tracked by the team.
- Take ownership for problems and come up with well-engineered solutions.
- Ensure that the team follows best in class agile development practices.
- Support the team with Salesforce domain, financial and business knowledge to ensure that issues and questions are dealt with quickly.
- Develop a personal network of contacts that you can rely on for support.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
- Become a domain authority for the teams products and act as the final technical point of contact for the team for any questions/issues raised against them.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the product owner and influence both the technical and functional enhancements of the system.
- Accurate, clear and precise communication.
- Take the initiative to drive the quality of the products and services and regularly contribute thoughts and improvements.
