We are in search of an experienced and strategic SEO guru to join our vibrant and growth-minded marketing team. The Senior Manager, Search Engine Optimization will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, conducting web analytics, keyword research, and organic search optimization to drive more traffic to our website while improving search engine rankings overall. You must be passionate about search engine optimization, on the cutting edge of SEO trends, and you know how to implement innovative strategies that drive organic traffic and improve organic search visibility. But your domain expertise doesn’t end there, because to be successful in this role, you also possess deep and intimate knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, its addressable market, and have a strong understanding of the evolving trends that drive search in the space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase website traffic and improve search engine rankings of Qualys.
- Perform keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords and phrases.
- Conduct competitive research to analyze our competitors' SEO strategies, keyword targeting, and content tactics.
- Help define and support a robust hub and spoke content hub, recommend topic cluster content and internal linking strategy to increase brand authority and overall organic traffic.
- Consistently deliver on-page recommendations, including target keywords, URL optimization, meta-data optimization, meta-descriptions, media optimization, page coding optimization, page speed, and other code optimizations.
- Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and product pages, for search engines.
- Conduct on-page and off-page SEO activities, including link building, guest blogging, and social media engagement etc.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic, bounce rate, engagement and conversion rate, using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the competitive landscape and use insights to refine our SEO approach.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Provide regular reporting on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and optimization across all aspects of SEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver conversion optimization results
- Ability to work with stakeholders effectively across different time zones
- Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the B2B industry, with a strong preference for those who also have experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- Proven experience as an SEO expert or similar role, with a strong track record of driving organic traffic and improving search rankings.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and tools (e.g. SEMrush, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Moz etc.).
- Proficiency in web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing high-quality work and achieving measurable results.
