The Senior Software Architect reports to the Senior Manager Software Engineering and is part of the Service R&D Organization located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.  At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Define software architecture and design patterns for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Write high-quality code in C#.NET and .NET Core/Framework, including Windows Services, REST APIs, and gRPC-based Services.

• Build modern, responsive interfaces using React JS, HTML, and JavaScript. Develop quick prototypes to validate design concepts and demonstrate product ideas to stakeholders.

• Performance Optimization by implementing multithreading techniques and optimize backend systems for high throughput and low latency.

• Utilize Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines for CI/CD and manage installation upgrades using InstallShield.

• Ensure adherence to GMP, QMS, and documentation practices in a regulated environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and architecture.
• Proven expertise in C#.NET, .NET Core, and React JS with full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and EtherNet/IP protocol.
• Skilled in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and installation management tools (InstallShield).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and Python (desirable).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Exposure to Machine Learning (NLP) concepts.
• Experience in Biotechnology/Life Sciences domain.
• Familiarity with GMP & regulatory environments and QMS practices.
