Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test scripts.
- Perform manual testing when needed
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Work closely with the development team to improve existing products and develop new features.
- Participate in design and specification reviews to ensure quality considerations are incorporated and to provide feedback.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of QA experience, with at least 1 year specifically in automated QA.
- Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, specifically Gherkin/Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cucumber, Selenium, Terraform
- Familiarity with Playwright for browser automation.
- Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for test management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
