Role Overview:
Trellix is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test to join our XDR Engineering team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and executing test suites with focus on Trellix API platform. The role requires proficiency in AWS and automation testing frameworks.About the Role:
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and automated test suites.
- Identify, analyze, and document bugs found during testing.
- Work with developers and other stakeholders to resolve identified issues and ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and tools.
About You:
- Candidate should have 5 – 8 years working experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Proficient in automation testing frameworks (any of Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Excellent knowledge of AWS especially services like Lambda and EKS.
- A fair level of proficiency in Java and Node.js
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrumenting full SDLC automation with tools like Jenkins or Team City or GitHub Actions.
- Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and can work with minimal guidance. Knows what needs to be done to meet delivery timelines, acts with urgency as needed.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to drive identification and resolution of issues to ship under tight deadlines.
