ABOUT THE ROLE
Role SUMMARY
Sortly, renowned for its simplicity and ease of use, is seeking a Software Engineer 3 - Frontend with a strong passion for user-centric design. Lead complex frontend projects, write high-quality, scalable code, and mentor junior developers. Collaborate with UX and PM teams to innovate and optimize our product’s performance and user experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and deliver awesome frontend product experience for our customers
- Write clear, readable and testable code
- Work with UX and PM teams to iterate and deliver the frontend experience balancing functionality, performance and usability
- Do code reviews, participate in architecture discussions
- Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve developer productivity, code simplicity and new functionality
- Mentor junior developers
- Take Architectural Decisions
- Help team with the hiring
What should you have:
- 4-6 years of experience in React/Angular/Vue or any similar modern frameworks
- Experience with Typescript is a plus
- Experience in working with APIs & relevant middleware to access them
- Ability to effectively debug issues to identify and address root causes with a focus on performance
- Demonstrated rigor in following and advocating for the best engineering practices
