Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, DevOps to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent management and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Technical Oversight:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve system performance.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps initiatives with business goals.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and implement best practices for DevOps processes and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

        Preferred Skills:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and other automation tools.

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure and Bottomline solutions in cloud environments and on-premise setups.
• Experience working with support tools like PagerDuty and JIRA to manage and resolve incidents effectively.
• Strong expertise in API management platforms, RESTful APIs, and integration gateways.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Utilize GIT for version control and manage code repositories.
• Work within Agile frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure security and compliance across all systems and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps principles to secure systems and processes.

     Requirements:

• Proven experience in PostgreSQL, GIT, DevOps Automation, Agile Methodology, Gitlab Pipelines, Terraform, Monitoring Tools, Maven, Linux, and containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.

   Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a DevOps management role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation tools
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
