The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Utilize advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, draw on core technology and domain knowledge to lead the design, enhancement and maintenance of a technology solution.

Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.

Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.

Analyze business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components.
-
Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements.

Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.
-
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.
-
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
-
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.

Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity.
Essential Skills:
-
12+ years of overall IT experience
-
Experience working in teams delivering native iOS applications using Swift.
-
Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
-
Strong experience in Swift UI.
-
Solid Unit and UI testing experience with XCTest.
-
An eye for detail in UI and interaction

Comfortable with GIT for version control
-
Able to manage the business stakeholders directly involved in the project

Having knowledge about Android is a plus.

Experience in event-driven architectures and real-time data testing
Education Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
