Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java and related frameworks
• Build and integrate Java-based APIs to support enterprise-grade services and system integrations
• Collaborate with Salesforce applications, including developing, consuming, and integrating APIs between Salesforce and backend systems (preferred)
• Contribute to AI/ML-enabled projects, supporting model integration, data pipelines, and intelligent service orchestration within backend systems
• Work closely with product owners, solution architects, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and effective solutions
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions
• Ensure applications meet standards for performance, security, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in both development and production environments
• Follow best practices for software development lifecycle (SDLC), including CI/CD, testing, and documentation
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously drive innovation and technical excellence within the team

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's degree in IT or Technology
• Solid experience in API design and integration
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure cloud environments
• Working knowledge of AI/ML-enabled applications and service orchestration
• Ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions with a focus on quality and performance
• Core Programming Skills:
  • Working experience with or strong interest in Groovy, Kotlin, and Python
  • Solid proficiency in Java (Java 17) for backend application development
  • Solid understanding of Java APIs and object-oriented programming principles
• Frameworks & Backend Technologies:
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building scalable microservices
  • Experience with Hibernate / JPA for ORM and data persistence
• Messaging, Data & Integration:
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging/streaming platforms
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL and relational database design
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration pipelines
• Cloud, DevOps & Tooling:
  • Experience working with AWS, including S3 (AWS Bucket) or related cloud storage/services
  • Hands-on experience with Maven for build management and GitHub for version control
  • Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing and validation
• Frontend & Web Technologies:
  • Basic to intermediate experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript for UI or integration support
• AI/ML & Advanced Technologies:
  • Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML projects, including model integration or intelligent service workflows
• Soft Skills & Growth Mindset:
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, architecture, and business stakeholders
  • Solid desire to continuously learn, adapt, and grow with emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with or integrating Salesforce applications and APIs
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design; exposure to GraphQL
