Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Software Engineer (Apex Developer) to join our Software Development team.
In this critical remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, tailored Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Your core output will be translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions that ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the platform.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Develop and Customize: Design, code, and implement custom applications, Apex classes, triggers, and components using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components to meet specific business needs.
Integrate and Connect: Integrate Salesforce with various other internal and third-party systems using APIs to ensure seamless, real-time data flow across the enterprise.
Ensure Quality and Performance: Write and maintain comprehensive test classes to guarantee high code coverage (typically over 80%) and actively participate in code reviews to maintain development and performance standards.
Collaborate and Advise: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather complex requirements and effectively translate them into scalable technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong proficiency in Apex development (including classes and triggers) and data manipulation using SOQL/SOSL.
Demonstrated experience with modern Salesforce user interface technologies, specifically Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including a deep understanding of governor limits and coding best practices.
Proven ability in problem-solving and debugging complex technical issues, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage cross-functional team efforts.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
