As a Senior Software Engineer, you will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry.
As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business.
- Performing research and development to generate/maintain robust engineering applications.
- Designing/developing engineering/science/math models, UIs, and user workflows.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas.
- Maintaining interfaces with team, stakeholders and customers as required.
- Working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business.
- Performing research and development to generate/maintain robust engineering applications.
- Designing/developing engineering/science/math models, UIs, and user workflows.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7-11 years’ experience in software engineering.
- Have programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred).
- Have experience with Visual C/C++ on Windows platform
- Preferred to have experience in using source control systems such as TFS, Subversion, Git.
- Preferred to have experience in using software build systems such as TFS, TeamCity.
- Advanced Engineering degree (Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical). PhD preferred.
- Proven problem solving, math, logic, and analytical abilities.
- Have proven ability to research/develop algorithms and models for physical phenomena relevant to oil/gas operations such as completions, wellbore intervention, well construction.
- Have experience in fluid mechanics, fluid/particle dynamics, wellbore hydraulics, and reservoir injection/stimulation modeling.
- Experience with matrix acidizing modeling is a strong plus.
- Ten+ years programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred).
- 6+ years product development experience with Visual C/C++ on Windows platform.
- Experience with independent work on complex projects with attention to detail.
- Good language and communication skills.
- Experience in user interface design and development.
- Preferred to have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5 programming and related frameworks.
