Primary Job Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead the design and development of automation solutions for Finance and Revenue platforms
- Deliver scalable, maintainable code focused on performance, reliability, and security
- Provide architectural direction and uphold engineering best practices
- Ensure the health and integration of Finance systems including Salesforce Billing, Oracle, Informatica, and Marketo
- Lead initiatives to improve automation, workflow efficiency, and data consistency across the Finance ecosystem
- Drive adoption of best practices in automation, test coverage, and cloud-native delivery
- Partner with Product, Finance, Sales, and Data teams to translate complex technical needs into impactful business solutions
- Maintain high standards for security, performance, and estimation accuracy
- Identify and remove blockers early to ensure timely, high-quality releases
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10 + years in software engineering with deep experience in integration and workflow automation
- 3 + years leading engineering teams of 5 + members
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL
- Experience integrating Salesforce, payment portals, collection tools, and ERP systems (Oracle)
- Strong background in Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-scale architecture
- Solid grasp of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
- Background in FinTech, B2B platforms, or Salesforce Revenue Cloud/Billing preferred
- Proven experience in leveraging AI tools and frameworks to improve engineering productivity and delivery efficiency
- Experience designing or integrating AI-driven applications to enhance automation, data insights, or user experience
