Job Description
Summary:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.
Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools.
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
You will report to SENIOR MANAGER, SOFTWARE ENGININEERING, Work location Pune.
Your Responsibilities:- proficiency in Python for backend services and APIs
- 5+ years of experience writing clean, testable, production‑grade code
- Familiarity with common Python frameworks ( FastAPI is must , Flask, Django – knowlegde)
- Working knowledge of lib like Pandas and Numpy for data processing
- Database & Data Modeling
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL or equivalent)
- Design and reason about data models, relationships, indexing, and constraints
- Comfortable writing optimized SQL queries
- Backend Architecture Basics
- RESTful API design
- Understanding of service‑to‑service communication
- Error handling, logging, and performance considerations
- Typically 5–7+ years of backend development experience
- Prior ownership of backend components or services in production systems
- Familiarity with common Python frameworks ( FastAPI is must , Flask, Django – knowlegde)
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Background in distributed systems or microservices
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
