Senior Specialist - Accounting Operations

MMC is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office:

What can you expect?

• Preparation of Journal entries relating to accruals, prepaid, revenue, banks etc

• Suggest and submit entries basis accounts analysis and clearance

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

• Follow up and clear open items and ensure over all ageing remains under control

• Assist the Finance Controllers in month end reporting and closing.

• Knowledge of macros would be an added advantage

We will count on you to:

• Take end to end responsibility of delivery

• Take on additional activities within the existing bandwidth.

• Willingness to work in evening or night shifts

• Extended hours during month end might be required

What you need to have:

• Any relevant Accounting degree preferably Chartered accountant.

• Knowledge of excel formulas and macros would be added advantage.

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting

• Prior experience in working in similar roles
